Hey everyone, welcome to my website. Its a pleasure to have you here and I hope you enjoy your stay. My name is DuckiePlz. I am a 30 year old male living in Georgia, USA. I made this site to consolidate several hobbies of mine and as a creative outlet for myself. In recent times, Ive been really itching for a place where I can express myself freely, share the things that I like and the theings that I make, and lastly share my thoughts and feelings on the things that I love in a more raw light.

By cultivating and shaping this site into a place I can be proud of, I hope you will stick around as I learn and grow while updating and maintaining this website/semi-public journal. Welcome to 1.0

Hey, everyone! Welcome to the first official post of this page. I am excited to get started now that I have a basic framework down on this site and will continue to improve it from here. Its been a lot of fun learning how to put this all together, and making it exactly hwo I want has been so cathartic and creativly pleaseing. I cant wait to continue to improve the functionality, animations, alyout and content of the site as we go along.

So, now that the framework is laid out, I'm going to start filling out content and pages one by one. One thing I am particularly excited about is the Game Database section, where I'll be keeping records of the games that I love. I've had an idea like this for a while now and this is the perfect way for me to start filling the website up and is why I'm starting there first. My plan is to go through and stream my Top 5 favorite games over on my Twitch channel (and if you aren't following me over on My Very Nice Twitch Channel, then what are you doing??) and use the clips, videos, vods and assests from that game to create a personalized page over in the Database. Ultimatley, it'll have a review of the game, what I think about it, what I like and dislike and my overall expereince with the game. Im also thinking of including fun little sidefacts in the sidebars for things like "Favorite Character" or "Favorite Song" to really enhance the page. I'm sure it'll take quite a bit of work but we have nothing but time lol.

I suppose I should also let you know what the Top 5 are so you know what to expect. I chose these games based on not only my personal enjoyment, but also how it influenced me. Me, as a person, I am very emoptinally connected to the things that I like, and if a peice of media can genuinely move me, its automatically a contender for being a favorite of mine. These games also impacted what I looked for in games going forward, which may make sense on my taste in things as we go along. But without further ado, the games in the top 5 list are:

• Sonic Adventure 2: Battle (GCN)
• Final Fantasy X (PS2)
• NeiR: Automata (PC/PS4)
• Pokemon: Emerald Version (GBA)
• Okami (PS2)

Honestly, now that I list it out physically and SEE the list in front of me, this explains so much about what and why I like what I like. I think that kind of introspection is good. And I look forward to going through all of these games again. I have no idea which one I will play first (probably Okami since its been the longest since I played that), but I look forward to sharing my thoughts and journey back through the game with all of you!
